About Us
Friends With Flowers of Oregon was founded in November 2007 by meeting and event planner Heidi Berkman. Heidi was inspired by the mission of Friends with Flowers after reading an article about founder Randy McManus. His work began in Greensboro NC in 2004. With 28 years of floral and event design experience, Randy recognized that he could reuse flowers from events and occasions to bring joy to terminally ill patients.
In the same spirit our president, board and volunteers have expanded the work of Friends With Flowers in the Central Oregon community. Our goal is to serve approximately 300+ Hospice patients per week in Bend, Sisters, Redmond, Prineville and La Pine.
